Just Some Poems. Pt.1
I started writing poems at the age of 13. Poetry was a new form of writing that was introduced to me. I do not have the exact memory of why I started writing poems but I did. I am truly glad that I did started writing because it has been a great way to express myself as well as it opened new dimensions of writing to me. Currently I still write poems and I actually wanted to judge my own abilities, I wanted to see how far I have come in my own poetry journey.
Poem -1:
Fell for You
When I first saw you,
You were a stranger,
As I started to know more about you,
I fell for you.
I thought about you day and night,
Thought about you all the time.
But then came a storm,
A storm,
That opened another side to you,
The Evil one,
I again fell for you,
But this time I hurt myself.
Poem 2:
Roses, Roses, Roses
It was a splendid view,
It was roses, roses, roses,
All the way.
The girl with excitement,
Ran down the lane,
To play along with the roses.
But as she ran,
She felt something,
She felt pain.
She stopped and checked,
Her feet had turned red,
Red as the roses.
At the moment,
Her grandmother screamed,
" Be careful! Beautiful roses prick too."
Poem 3:
My Sky
You are just like the sky,
I look at you everyday.
I feel peaceful.
A sense of peace that leaves me restless,
I want to capture all of you,
But I cannot,
You are limitless,
Just like the sky.
But just know,
I will love you as you change,
Just like how I love,
The sky at every changing hour.
